a)  Because the cordycepin lacks a 3'-OH group, it can not participate in 3'-> 5'  bond formation. b) Because the poly(A) tail is a long stretch of adenosine nucleotides, the likelihood that a molecule of cordycepin wold become incorporated is higher than in normal RNA. c) Yes,  it must be converted into cordycepin 5'-triphosphate.
