111 amino acids

Explanation:  336 bases  minus 3 bases for the stop code which does not code an amino acid (the initiation code codes for Met) gives us  333 bases that code for amino acids.  The genetic code is a triplet so each three bases in the sequence 3 bases code for one amino acid or 333/3= 111 amino acids coded for in a 336 basessequnce (assuming the initiation site is the very first three bases and the stop code is the very last three bases in the sequence).
