(14N) so that the parent DNA is represented by HH (both 15N strands):
After 1 generation growth in 14N: HL and HL so 50% HL (one
strand 14N, one strand 15N)
After 2 generations: HL, LL, HL, LL so 50% HL
After 3 generations: HL, LL, LL, LL, HL, LL, LL, LL so 25% HL
