Artist's Statement

Breaking Out of The Box is a series about releasing and expressing wherever the spirit travels (past, present, and future) and whatever the spirit feels.

When aesthetic travel is outside of the box, all rules regarding "what is considered art" or "what is considered design" are disregarded. All past traditional artistic and technical skills have been merged into a digital visual statement. These designs are the creative expression of perceptions and observations of the spirit within.

The universal view of human nature, the need to comprehend and validate circulating paradoxes from within, and the pursuit of another creative "comfort zone" is researched.

Everyone in life has comfort zones. But what we all sometimes fail to immediately realize is the "price" that we all have to pay to remain too long in those carefully cultivated glided cages.

The elusive "Fantasy Island" that we all struggle to ferret out is that continually changing place where our inner spirit is nourished and appreciated. We all spend much of our lifetimes looking externally for the positive sustenance and beauty that comes from within.

The hunt for new frontiers by breaking through familiar formalized patterns and searching out new meanings are representative of the journey of life that we all share and experience together
