 Notes to Appendix A

1.	Western and Other World Civilizations are combined.
2.	In most cases students "double dip" these courses in their major. No additional credits are required.
3.	May be completed prior to college. Most options require only 3 credits, but some may require six credits.
4.	May be completed prior to college. MAT 103 is the only 3-credit option under GE Y2k All others require at least six credits and some require nine credits.
5.	May be completed prior to college
6.	Generally there are no incremental credit hours. In the IF program, students will normally "double-dip" via the "P" designation.
7.	Infused into majors. In the IF program this is addressed in BSC 100 as well.
8.	Minimum SUNY requirements are fulfilled by BSC 100, Cognate Foundations and BSC 300 in the IF program. Higher level critical thinking is infused in majors. In GE Y2k this is infused in majors
