Introduction
Learning basic grammar can
be a daunting task for both the teacher and the students. These
interactive sites will provide students with word challenges and the
knowledge of the following parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives,
adverbs, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions, interjections, and
articles.

World of Words Challenges - This is an enjoyable site for
kids. By experimenting with words, students learn the value of
them. This site includes spelling, decoding, word building, and
word meanings.

Hearing the music and watching the videos to creative grammar
poems tell children the facts about the basic parts of
speech.

of Speech -
This site explains the basic parts of speech: nouns, verbs,
adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions,
interjections, and articles. Students are given a brief definition
to each. A hyperlink is provided at the bottom of the page for
when the students are ready to practice their knowledge.

Teaching the plural forms of easily confused words is simple with
this site. Students can select the level of difficulty and learn
while they are having fun.

of prepositions. When students are sure they understand

Students use their knowledge of being verbs to play this
interactive site. The site provides the correct answers for
incorrect choices.

is fun site to test students' knowledge of the parts of speech.
There is a beginning level, which includes only nouns and verbs,
and an advanced level, which includes all parts of speech.

correct answers, students are motivated to choose wisely.
