Solution to PS 3 #6
Similarities: 1) Both contain heme which binds oxygen.
2) The secondary structure in both cases is primarily a-helix.
Differences: 1) Hb is a tetramer while Mb is a monomer. This
leads to coorperative O2 binding in Hb which is not present
in Mb. 2) There are 4 hemes in Hb and only one heme in Mb.
