Emotions

A flash. I fight through the word to say. My mind a torrent of emotion. I see you. I smile. Slowly I turn away, your sight eating at my pain. Your touch. A hand on my shoulder. I turn to you. You smile. I smile again. Your touch is soot hing. Now I see your thoughts. You too are fighting emotion. I sigh. You move your lips to my ear and whisper. I listen. The smile leaves my face. Your words fill my emotions with confusion. Slowly my doubts fade. I turn back to you. I face you. I smile again. My hand moves to yours. You nod. I lead you away. Your breath grows quick. I whisper to you. You begin to calm. We move forward. I feel your hand grasp mine tighter. I return the feeling. The confusion is gone. The emotions are higher. Where to go. I turn down a path. You sigh. I turn to you and take your face in my hands. I bring my lips to yours. We kiss. A noise, behind us. What to do. You eyes widen. Your heart pounds. We turn to run. A noise, in front of us. He appears. We stop and try to turn. Another behind. A sound, loud. You turn to me and try to cry out. I try to kiss you. Your lips are cold. You grip releases. A sound. My emotions rage. My sight fades. Love is great. We will be together. I la y next to you and sleep....
