In a time far from the past
In a time far from the past
a life waits in anguish as time fades fast
A pain in his chest let his mind know
no matter what happened his feelings will remain low
but why bother suffering over one so far lost
her life hangs before me in a silent trust
Her eyes bear the pain that once filled me
deep in her heart she tries to see
but alas I cannot help her mind
she is letting herself grow slowly blind
an arm reaches out, one last grasp
Her breath shortens, one last gasp
I watch as she falls deep into her hell
I wish I could help her, but alas she fell
I watch as her body is consumed
by the darkness that she exhumed
Oh what a loss this will be
a lass so beautiful to see
but so taken by her selfish needs
her pain will wind up being her downfall indeed
I turn one last time and start to cry
spun around by the flash reaching across the sky
I bow my head in one last act of love
then slowly turn to walk away
